End of life

The state or fact of lasting for only a limited period of time.

End-of-life DOULA
or deathdoula

An end-of-life doula guides a person in transition to death and their loved ones through the process.
End-of-life doulas provide support that is non-medical, non-legal and non-funeral.
A thanadoula is there to serve the person at the end of life, honouring their physical, psychological and spiritual needs.

For whom

End-of-life doulas are at the service of everyone, whether young, old, terminally ill or healthy – we are at the service of humanity.
Thanadoulas complement the care provided by hospitals, hospices and funeral homes by filling the gaps that arise during the end-of-life process. Each doula is different and will have her own approach.

Why

To have care that’s just like you. To take time to talk, to feel, to organize, to plan, to celebrate, to reconnect.
To be listened to, served, relieved, accompanied and educated about the end-of-life process, so you can better understand, prepare for and accept it.
To enable loved ones to receive emotional and psychological support before, during and after death.

My commitment

I chose to commit myself to dignity because I believe that everyone deserves to die with respect, love and trust. Knowing how to be there for each other, right up to the last moments, is what drives me. No one should have to die alone if they don’t want to. If being a presence and a sympathetic ear is the most precious thing I can offer, then I won’t hesitate to hold your hand.

Rates

Accessibility and flexibility are important to me, and everyone should be served equally in the face of death.
That’s why I offer my services on a sliding scale, according to your financial capacity. You choose the amount that best suits your situation.

Any questions ?

All situations are different and more or less complex. All people are different and experience/express things in a singular way. You’re not alone.
